Dr. Carl E. Misch is Director of Oral Implantology, Continuing Education, University of Pittsburgh; Associate Clinical Professor, University of Pittsburgh, School of Dental Medicine, and Adjunct Associate Professor, University of Alabama at Birmingham, School of Engineering.
                                     
He graduated Magna Cum Laude in 1973 from the University of Detroit Dental School and received his Prosthodontic Certificate and Master Degree from the University of Pittsburgh, where he also received his Graduate Certified in Implantology.  Dr. Misch is a Diplomat of the American Board of Oral Implantology and Board Chairman of the American College of Oral Implantology.

Post Graduate Honors include 9 Fellowships in Dentistry, including:  Fellow of the American College of Dentists, Fellow of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry and Fellow of the Royal Society of Medicine.  He is past President of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, and the Academy of Implants and Transplants and holds editorial positions for several journals.  He has published over 150 articles and has lectures in over 40 countries throughout the world.  Known for his dedication and expertise in the field of implant dentistry, Dr, Misch is unconditionally committed to help set and elevate the standards of care in implant dentistry.
